David Yeadell 2016

David is self-taught and is displaying predominantly oil paintings; seascapes, landscapes and abstracts. He has exhibited in Cumbria and North Devon since 2007.

About The Artist

Since resuming art in 2004 after 40 odd years, I found my forte is oil painting, although I do work in other mediums. I have exhibited successfully in Cumbria and over the last three years in North Devon (NDA exhibitions and other venues). I run a Barnstaple community-based art group ‘Art for Leisure & Pleasure’ on a weekly basis and am currently studying art history at degree level. I enjoy painting seascapes and landscapes and have more recently explored abstract painting.

  1. Me too! David is rather a dab hand at abstract water colours too – I have a rather lovely strutting rooster to prove it!
