My combined techniques; batik, paint, print, create energetic compositions rich in colour- blends and dynamic line. Effects with light and movement show attractive journeys through coast and countryside.
I studied printing processes at art school, particularly enjoying Batik and Lino-cut. I continue to develop and combine these with paint on a larger scale, exhibiting work in the South East, Somerset and North Devon. I have taught Art and worked on large murals, exhibitions and installations in the community. I offer a Batik workshop at my studio in Westward Ho! and a one hour presentation to groups on the fascinating process of Batik.
