Penelope is a mixed media artist. Her work combines painting and machine embroidery in 2D and 3D. She uses the environment in North Devon as her design source.
About The Artist
Penelope trained in Fine Art and later became interested in textiles. She has exhibited throughout the UK and in Tokyo, Japan. Several residencies have been undertaken and she has taught Art and Design to both adults and children in London and here in Devon.
Penelope has taken part in several National Touring exhibitions, with both Large Scale and Miniature works. Her solo exhibitions have been in Devon and Surrey. Recently she participated in the exhibition ‘Imprints’ at the Museum of Somerset, Taunton and she took part in the ‘Travellers Tales’ exhibition at the Bristol Guild. Penelope enjoys working to commission.

Directions Park along Rumsam or Fortescue Rd then approach studio by foot. A lane runs behind the terraced houses where our studio is situated. It will be well signposted.
