Working in watercolour, acrylic and printmaking the work centres around the local land and seascape and is atmospheric and impressionistic.
About The Artist
After a career in performing arts and education I set myself the challenge of studying for another degree, this time in Fine Art and obtained First Class Honours in 2011. I show work regularly in group and solo exhibitions, both locally and elsewhere, selling both locally and abroad.
My work is always a response to either an idea or my surroundings. My watercolours are generally atmospheric and impressionistic, whilst the drypoints are more linear in character. I prefer diversity which is why I like to work in a variety of styles and techniques and in 3D as well as 2D.
